This beautiful and worshipful song was written by Jewish piano virtuoso and composer Julius Chajes 1910-1985. I believe I first heard it in 1986 through Kent Henry’s album “Glorify Thy Name. I somehow started singing it around the house and my wife Robin suggested I make a reharm reel out of it.
