As my friend Chris explained, there are different types of cerebral palsy. There’s Spastic CP: Hemiplegia, Diplegia, and Quadriplegia. Dyskinetic CP: Athetoid and Dystonic. Ataxic CP, Hypotonic CP, and Mixed CP. Within those types there are different severity levels: mild, moderate, and severe. And within every type there are different Gross Motor Function Classification System levels, from 1 to 5, 5 being the most affected.
