Today's Friends of Allegany Video is of Gypsy 30. Half of the primitive cabins loops (Gypsy, Reed, Circle, Indian and Creekside opened for rental last weekend. These are wood-heated non-electric cabins available for $38.50 per night or $154 for the week. The park will deliver 1/4 cord of firewood to wood heated cabins for $25, but orders must be placed before 7PM the day of arrival. Happy camping everyone! | Friends of Allegany State Park

Here’s the progress on the refurbished Ryan Cabins. The interiors have been corn-blasted and are looking fantastic! The fireplaces have been upgraded to inserts with glass doors and new stainless steel chimneys. Number 9, once condemned, will be up and running for the 2018 camping season.
