Lay low, keep it chill, snapping turtles 🧊 These snappers aren’t frozen, they’re just brumating. It might sound super emo, but it’s kinda like hibernating for reptiles. They’re able to continue to absorb oxygen through their skin (around their necks and, um, butts) while they’re underwater for the winter.
