German soccer legend Thomas Müller is heading to North America as he joins MLS club Vancouver Whitecaps. On Tuesday, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the deal between the Canadian camp and the 35-year-old.

With that ability, he could fit into various formations and tactical plans for the Whitecaps and head coach Jesper Sørensen. At the same time, he can bring unmatched class, either as a winger, attacking midfielder or second striker alongside U.S. men’s national team forward, Brian White.

Müller, who won the World Cup with Germany in 2014, will join the Whitecaps for the remainder of the season in an open roster spot.
