Ilia Topuria makes a bold claim, saying he could finish both Islam Makhachev and Paddy Pimblett in a single night.

UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria completely downplayed Arman Tsarukyan as a challenge. Out of the top lightweight contenders, many pundits believe Tsarukyan (22-3 MMA, 9-2 UFC) is the sternest test to new champion Topuria (17-0 MMA, 9-0 UFC), who insists that's not the case, and sees Paddy Pimblett (22-4 MMA, 7-0 UFC) as a bigger challenge.

However, Ilia Topuria could call it a day in a couple of years, according to the recently retired former UFC flyweight champion. Demetrious Johnson dominated the lower weight classes for years before calling it quits in September 2024. The 38-year-old flyweight GOAT believes Topuria will follow him out of the sport in the not-too-distant future.
