Tesla (TSLA) released its Q2 deliveries and production numbers on Wednesday, July 2. The deliveries, which closely approximate vehicle sales fell 13.5% year-over-year. The decline was higher than the 13% fall in Q1 and was the worst ever for the company.

Tesla announced Wednesday it delivered about 384,000 vehicles during the second quarter of 2025, down by about 60,000 from the same time period last year. In total, Tesla delivered 384,122 vehicles during the quarter, according to a news release from the company. The Austin-based company delivered 443,956 vehicles during the same time in 2024.

Tesla stock rose Wednesday after the EV maker reported global electric vehicle deliveries below Wall Street's low projections but produced more cars than expected.
