Delhi has not acknowledged the loss of any of its planes and instead said it carried out successful strikes against what it said was "terrorist" infrastructure inside Pakistan.

India launched strikes into Pakistan earlier in the week, kicking off a new round of fighting.Pakistan said it responded with its Chinese-made fighter jets and shot down five Indian aircraft.The Indian aircraft have since been identified as French-made Rafales and Soviet-era fighters.
