UT announced 11 new either promotions or hires in late Feb. to their coaching staff, and added to that list on Tuesday with the announcement that former West Virginia head coach Neal Brown was added to the staff, according to a report from UT football reporter Anwar Richardson.

The Longhorns continued to add to their coaching staff on Tuesday, hiring former West Virginia head coach Neal Brown. He recently led the Mountaineers to a 6-6 record last year before he was let go. They had better success during the 2023 campaign, going 9-4 and beating North Carolina in the Mayo Bowl.
