Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell may have made a decision with his backup-quarterback spot, and it isn't the player most fans would have predicted before training camp began.

As much as the Gophers prepared him for the future, however, Brosmer still briefly felt like his head was spinning shortly after signing with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent.
