The Canadian Union of Public Employees, which represents the 10,000 striking workers, issued a statement on Facebook saying their mediation with Air Canada was complete and the “strike has ended.”

Air Canada is set to resume its flight services on Wednesday, after a nearly four-day strike by its unionized flight attendants left more than 500,000 passengers stranded.

The strike is affecting about 130,000 travellers a day at the peak of the summer travel season.
