More than 100 football fans were in custody Thursday after Argentine and Chilean supporters fought with knives, sticks, stun grenades, and bathroom fittings during a club knock-out match near Buenos Aires.

The aggression erupted at halftime, when the Chilean team's fans threw projectiles. Everything worsened at the start of the second half, and the match had to be suspended, leading to a tragedy. A stampede surprised the attendees as the stands were being evacuated, and that's when the brawl between fans and even the police began.
