A super PAC supporting former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the New York mayoral election is running a late ad that depicts Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani in front of video of the Twin Towers crashing down on 9/11.

In an interview on the eve of Tuesday’s election against Democratic front-runner Zohran Mamdani, Cuomo’s radio silence caught the “Ebro in the Morning” crew off-guard. “Your boy was just on ‘60 Minutes,’ Cuomo, saying you’re his guy!” Darden told him in a clip shared by MeidasTouch.

It’s not the O.J. Bronco,” the former New York governor said, after a picture of him in the car was viewed millions of times online.

Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has a long list of accomplishments, many of them progressive. In the race for New York City mayor, that experience hasn't given him the boost he wanted.
