Max Verstappen says it is unrealistic to expect Red Bull to close its race pace deficit with McLaren in the short term despite a range of upgrades coming to the 2025 Formula 1 car.

Max Verstappen has called for Red Bull to investigate the unsafe pit release incident that led to a collision with Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli during the Miami sprint race. The four-time F1 champion was hit with a costly 10-second time penalty after the front-left wheel of his Red Bull struck the right-rear of Antonelli's W15 in the pit lane.

Verstappen drove Emil Frey Racing's Ferrari 296 GT3 car during a test at Nurburgring's Nordschleife at an official Nurburgring Endurance Series test, and Verstappen snuck into the running under the pseudonym of "Franz Hermann".
