Named after a former Fairfax City mayor, the George Snyder Trail will connect Chain Bridge Road to the Wilcoxon Trail at Draper Drive, south of Fairfax Boulevard.

In six fatal crashes between late April and early August, police hadn't disclosed whether the surviving motorist was charged with a crime or cited for a moving violation.
