Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman, on Friday flagged off and dedicated the BLW-manufactured WAP-7 electric locomotive to the nation at Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW).

CPKC says it is exploring and investing in technology solutions and projects to reduce emissions from its locomotive operations and to support CPKC's long-term sustainability objectives.
