British Airways is ordering 32 new long-haul aircraft from Boeing in a deal worth nearly $13 billion, the airline's parent company, International Airlines Group confirmed Friday.

(Reuters) -British Airways owner IAG said on Friday that it will place an order for 53 new Airbus and Boeing long-haul aircraft. The order consists of 32 Boeing 787-10 aircraft for British Airways and 21 Airbus A330-900neo aircraft,

IAG, the airline’s parent company, announced the order a day after Britain and the United States confirmed the framework for a trade agreement to lower tariffs.
