Phones have been ringing off the hook as people seek help for air conditioners that just can’t keep up with the demand.

They say the unidentified male recovered from the water was “unconscious and unresponsive” and pronounced dead at the scene.

Several large trees were recently cut down along Wellington Avenue, near Garfield Avenue, leaving behind stumps and questions from concerned neighbors.

The Town of Huntington is now calling  this a major rat infestation. The town is working with businesses and county to get situation under control as quickly and humanely as possible.
