The New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers are joining the Minnesota Vikings on the lookout for another wide receiver, according to The Athletic's Dianna Russini.
Robinson signed a two-year, $9.5 million contract with the 49ers back in March after a two-year stint with the NFC West rival Los Angeles Rams. San Francisco quarterback Mac Jones sustained a knee sprain in the 49ers’ second preseason game on Saturday and won’t be available when the NFL team closes its preseason schedule on Saturday.
Martin started the preseason shaky and looked good later in the second preseason game. However, he is a third-round pick, and not only is he not pushing Dee Winters, you could argue Luke Gifford and Tatum Bethune are closer to Martin than Martin is to Winters.
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk is likely itching to get back on the field after suffering a season-ending injury in Week 7 last season, but he and the team may have broken an NFL rule as he works his way back from a torn ACL and MCL.

The 49ers are signing a quarterback to help out as the NFL preseason nears its end. Nate Sudfeld previously played for the team.
