The Palm Springs Police Department had already reopened North Indian Canyon Drive on Monday. Both roads had been closed since Saturday morning, according to alerts sent out by the city.

The City of Palm Springs said on X that North Gene Autry Trail reopened at the wash around 12:20 p.m. and North Indian Canyon Drive at the wash reopened around 4 p.m.
