The person killed in the Saturday explosion outside a fertility clinic in Palm Springs, California, is a 25-year-old from Twentynine Palms, the FBI said Sunday.

Authorities identified the suspect in the explosion at a Palm Springs, California, fertility clinic as Guy Edward Bartkus, 25, of Twentynine Palms, saying at a news conference Sunday that he is the man suspected to have died in the bombing that injured four other people.

An FBI official said on Sunday the bureau believes it has identified the suspect connected to a bombing near a fertility clinic in Palm Springs, California, as 25-year-old Guy Edward Bartkus, and that he held "nihilistic" views.
