Yelich had two homers among his four hits and drove in five runs as the Milwaukee Brewers overcame a seven-run deficit for their club record-tying 13th straight victory.
The Brewers tied a franchise record by extending their winning streak to 13 straight games with an improbable comeback victory over the Reds.
Brandon Woodruff (4-0, 2.06) starts for the Brewers and will be countered by Cubs right-hander Jameson Taillon (7-6, 4.44). The Cubs won Game 1, 6-4. With two outs in the first, William Contreras singles, Christian Yelich walked and Andrew Vaughn singled to drive in Contreras for the quick 1-0 lead.
The Brewers' rotation is loaded. Freddy Peralta, Quinn Priester, José Quintana, Jacob Misiorowski, and Brandon Woodruff are all healthy and thriving. The Brewers have dealt with injuries left and right but the pitching has helped Milwaukee navigate through it.
