Warner Bros. Discovery linear networks continued to lose ground amid ongoing challenges, weighing on the fourth quarter along with one-time charges.

Warner Bros. Discovery reversed plans announced in September of 2023 to launch a premium tier for sports programming on Max, and said it also would end an experiment called “CNN Max” that attempted to create a new CNN tier for subscribers to the streaming service.

The service will make its long-awaited debut down under on March 31, with the second season of HBO's post-apocalyptic series 'The Last of Us' serving as an early tentpole title when it releases in April.
