Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Brandon Carlo hadn't dropped the gloves in nearly two years, but he brought back his fighting chops on Saturday. Just over three minutes into the 3-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings, Carlo found himself trading punches with Jeff Malott, who was playing only his second NHL game.

Turns out it didn’t take quite that long. The debate is over with two weeks to go. Anthony Stolarz put an end to it. The 31-year-old has earned the opportunity to start in Game 1 of the playoffs for the Toronto Maple Leafs. It will be his first postseason start in the NHL.
