President Donald Trump's 25% tariffs on Indian goods will do little to slow the role of the Asian country as a key hub for manufacturing iPhones, even when it means more expensive smartphones for U.S.

Between March and May, nearly all of the $3.2 billion worth of iPhones exported by Foxconn from India were shipped to the US, highlighting Apple’s realignment of Indian production to cater primarily to the American market.

Even though the markets have become mostly numb to the current administration's tariff see-saw, one analyst is worried that Apple may have to maintain India iPhone imports regardless.
