A Cal Fire captain has been arrested after a woman and her child died in a shooting in Cameron Park, the El Dorado County Sheriff said Friday. The county coroner identified the woman as 29-year-old Marissa N.

EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. (KOLO) - The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office coroner has identified 29-year-old Marissa N. Divodi-Lessa of Shingle Springs, Calif., as the victim in the Cameron Park shooting on Thursday, Aug. 21, according to an agency Facebook post.

Firefighters are working to contain a grass fire that has burned dozens of acres on the southern end of El Dorado County on Wednesday. Cal Fire's incidents webpage shows the Coyote Fire has burned about 60 acres in the Coyoteville area, about 21 miles southeast of Placerville.
