The Chicago Sky’s preseason opener in Baton Rouge, La., will offer a rare return to the past for three of their youngest stars.

While Reese was the center of attention Friday night, she wasn't the only player who suited up for Mulkey's Tigers on the Sky roster. Hailey Van Lith, who played the 2023-24 season at LSU, was recently drafted by the Sky. Van Lith put together a successful season at TCU before making the leap to the WNBA.

Chicago Sky general manager Jeff Pagliocca made several major changes to the roster this offseason. After the franchise let go of head coach Teresa Weatherspoon and replaced her with Tyler Marsh, the new regime has been finding ways to build around budding star forward Angel Reese.
