The Stars at least are pretty good at handling the adversity early in a series. They're 6-2 in Game 2 after losing the opener since 2022 and have gone on to win the series five times, including against the Colorado Avalanche in the first round last year, when they lost Game 1 at home 5-1 and won Game 7 at home 4-2.

The Dallas Stars dropped Game 1 of their playoff series against the Minnesota Wild in a decisive 6–1 loss, but fans leaving the arena said they weren’t discouraged.

Not only did they lose the first game, they dropped the second game at home too, but went on to win the next two in Vegas and eventually win Game 7 at home.
