‘You probably don’t want us anywhere near a remodel’: Cracker Barrel responds to meme on the White House renovation

A meme was making the rounds on Wednesday after an X user posted a mock-up of a Cracker Barrel Country Store where the East Wing of the White House used to be. Complete with rocking chairs, a country porch and a full parking lot, the image poked fun at the ongoing White House renovations.

Trump is adding a ballroom to the East Wing. Photos from the 1950s show the last major White House renovation.

Donald Trump isn't the first president to demolish parts of the White House. Harry Truman oversaw the last major renovation in the 1950s.
