Microsoft Word lets you apply the formatting of the destination document when you paste, but by default Ctrl-V retains the original formatting of the pasted text.
Make sure the text and graphics you paste into Word 2007 documents don't bring their formatting along for the ride.
To see the Word settings that control the formatting of added and deleted text, click Review > Track Changes > Change Tracking Options.
