With rumours abound that Verstappen could be tempted to join Mercedes for F1 2026, he was once again questioning the performance of his Red Bull following Friday practice at Silverstone

Jos Verstappen, the father of four-time Formula 1 champion Max, has hit back at recent claims regarding an exit clause in his son's Red Bull contract.

Max Verstappen said it was a “bad day” after he and Red Bull struggled in both opening practice sessions for the British Grand Prix. The Dutchman could only manage P10 in FP1 and P5 in FP2 as the likes of McLaren and Ferrari all looked a step ahead at Silverstone.
