China issued a travel advisory Wednesday for citizens visiting the U.S. The warning comes as a trade war has escalated between the nations, and as more scrutiny is being put on foreign nationals

From expressing concern that transgender travelers could face issues with their travel documents to emphasizing that visa approval doesn’t guarantee entry, European governments are making citizens aware of the conditions for entering the U.

The updated travel guidance by China comes as Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Germany, France and the U.K. have all issued new travel guidance for those wishing to travel to the U.S. in response to President Trump's crackdown on immigration and trans rights.
