According to a new report, Perplexity AI is set for another fundraise, this time at a $20 billion valuation, a move that comes on the heels of its bid to buy Google Chrome.
In 2022, Srinivas co-founded Perplexity AI with Denis Yarats, Johnny Ho and Andy Konwinski. The company specialises in AI-driven search engines that offer real-time conversational responses. The AI company recently raised approximately $1 billion from investors such as Nvidia and Japan's SoftBank.
The AI startup has put in a $34.5 billion bid to buy Chrome as a key antitrust ruling looms. But analysts say the price looks low and Google is unlikely to be selling.
