SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, PENNSYLVANIA— Volunteer and Lamade Stadiums have already hosted three full days of play at the 2025 Little League World Series, and the action has more than lived up to the hype.

Eight teams chasing redemption will take to the diamond in Williamsport, Pennsylvania Saturday with an opportunity to evade elimination and earn their first victory of the 2025 Little League World Series.

Each of the 20 teams participating in the 2025 Little League World Series has had to overcome adversity on the way to South Williamsport. Chief among those is El Segundo Perfecto Little League of Chihuahua,

ABC and ESPN will broadcast and livestream subsequent 2025 Little League World Series games from the Howard J. Lamade Stadium in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

The eyes of the baseball world will be on Williamsport, Pennsylvania Sunday, not only because the best from the world of Little League will take the diamond in Lamade and Veteran's Stadiums, but because MLB presents its annual Little League Classic in prime time.

The first Little League World Series took place in 1947 and was played at Original Field at Memorial Park in Williamsport. Fittingly, a team from the Maynard League in Williamsport won the championship, beating Lock Haven, Pa. Four teams from Williamsport were among the entrants, there were 11 teams total from Pennsylvania and one from New Jersey.

The 2025 Little League World Series is officially off and running. Eight teams continue their quest to win it all in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, on Sunday in the annual summer tournament. A new winner will be crowned in 2025, too, after last year's champion, Lake Mary, Florida, was eliminated in the regional round.
