Israeli forces have struck Yemeni ports and the Galaxy Leader ship, alleging Houthi rebels used the ports to transport Iranian weapons and had equipped the hijacked vessel with a radar system for tracking maritime traffic to facilitate terrorist activities.

In the IDF strikes on Yemen, Israeli forces also claim they struck the Galaxy Leader, a ship that was taken over by Houthi forces in November 2023, shortly after the war between Israel and Hamas started following the events of Oct. 7, when Hamas led a terrorist attack on Israel that left 1,200 Israelis dead and 250 taken hostage.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei attended a religious gathering on Saturday, according to Iranian state media outlet Press TV, the first time he has appeared in public in several weeks.
