RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) — The Dallas Cowboys began their preparations in Rio de Janeiro on Friday for their game against the Baltimore Ravens with an eye on the task at hand and not the sights for which the city is known.

The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are honoring founder Dee Brock, who died Wednesday at age 96, according to her family. Brock formed the squad in 1961 and later worked to integrate it, helping shape what became one of the NFL’s most recognizable traditions.
