Enthusiasm for the 10 mm pistol is extending into 2018, as Springfield Armory has announced its most elite production 1911s will be chambered in the potent cartridge.

It is very similar to the previous 10 mm 1911 TRP, the Springfield Armory 1911 TRP Operator Longslide in terms of its features and characteristics.

Take Springfield Armory’s most elite production platform, the TRP, and add a Trijicon Ruggedized Miniature Reflex optic, and you’ve got a critical-use 1911 like nothing else - the TRP 10mm RMR.

Recoil is managed through extra mass in the reciprocating assembly and frame, making the power of the 10mm round easy on the operator. Each TRP 10mm RMR is shipped with two 9-round magazines.
