Roblox, a popular gaming app, announced Monday it is introducing new age-based accounts and expanded parental controls for users under 16.

Roblox has introduced changes to its child safety system, including tech that estimates users' ages and settings that limit access to certain features based on age.

A user's estimated age will now determine the version and individual features of Roblox they can access, what content they see and who they can communicate with.
