Hundreds of demonstrators in Colorado Springs gathered in front of City Hall downtown on Monday afternoon, President's Day, to protest President Donald Trump and his administration's "reactionary agenda.

According to the Colorado Springs Fire Department, the fire was located in a first-floor apartment at a complex in the 200 block of East Arvada Street, near I-25 and South Nevada

A short-lived structure fire caused significant damage at the Meadows Pointe Apartments located at 215 E. Arvada St. Monday afternoon.

There are 85 medical dispensaries in Colorado Springs, and the city says more than 20 have already applied to sell recreationally on April 14. Firefighters told 11 News crews on scene that the fire was contained to a single apartment and no one will be displaced.
