A strong cold front is pushing across the eastern half of the country this week.

Tomorrow (Wednesday), the close approach and passage of a cold front will trigger rain and multiple thunderstorms across NCWV. Expect rain activity to begin around sunrise, give or take an hour, and to wind down over the course of the evening.
