Brad Marchand’s hockey afterlife officially began Tuesday morning on Causeway Street, where he returned to the ice for the first time in more than a week, and for the first as an ex-Bruin.

The Boston Bruins sent franchise legend Brad Marchand a special message following the shocking trade to the Florida Panthers.

Marchand, speaking at the Panthers’ practice facility on Monday, said, "It was very disappointing" not to get an extension done with Boston.
