Anthony Davis could be close to returning to the Dallas Mavericks after a six-week injury absence. The star forward was listed as doubtful for a game at the Brooklyn Nets to start a four-game trip Monday night.

Forget whether or not the Dallas Mavericks should bring Anthony Davis back this season. The 32-year-old star, acquired in the still-mind-boggling Luka Donćić trade, is ramping up for a return, and he's "likely" to be back in the lineup at some point in the next week,

Davis was picked up in the Mavericks shocking Luka Doncic trade, but in his debut for the team on Feb. 8, he suffered the aforementioned adductor injury that has held him out of action for the past six weeks. While some folks in Dallas want to shut Davis down for the season, he reportedly is intent on suiting up again this year.
