The high-profile Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell was moved to a minimum-security federal prison camp in Texas on Friday, August 1, just over a week after she met with federal officials to discuss her relationship with the late sex trafficker.

Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein's associate who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for her role in recruiting and trafficking minors for sex, was being held at a facility in Florida.

Ghislaine Maxwell, the 62-year-old British socialite convicted of trafficking underage girls for Jeffrey Epstein, was moved to Federal Prison Camp Bryan, a minimum-security facility in Texas, earlier this week. Newsweek contacted Maxwell's attorney for comment via email on Saturday outside of regular office hours.
