The Supreme Court on Friday granted a partial stay of nationwide injunctions issued by district judges against President Donald Trump's executive order to effectively end birthright citizenship. The 6-3 opinion came from Justice Amy Coney Barrett.

Three days after the Supreme Court said litigants attempting to get court orders broadly blocking President Donald Trump’s policies must do so through class action lawsuits, an administration lawyer said it plans to oppose such legal maneuverings in cases challenging the executive order seeking to end birthright citizenship.

That means CASA has not ended the fight over Trump’s birthright order. It’s simply shifted the battlefield. Now the litigation will happen in many courtrooms instead of one. But thanks to collateral estoppel, the government may not get hundreds of chances to win.
