Worcester's city council meeting will be remote due to "threats of violence" made to elected officials and city staff in the wake of a woman's arrest by ICE agents last week, the mayor said.

Ferreira De Oliveira, 40, a native of Brazil, is being held at the Donald W. Wyatt Detention Facility in Rhode Island following her detention on May 8, on Eureka Street in Worcester.
