Stanford scuttles plan to buy Catholic university campus
Stanford University has backed out of a plan to buy a 174-year-old Catholic university campus in Belmont. The decision reverses a 2021 purchase agreement that outlined Stanford's plan to create a satellite campus for 2,500 students, faculty and staff.
