On Friday, March 21, also known as Match Day, medical students all around the country found out what medical residency program they were paired with to continue their medical education.

March 21, marked as National Match Day, is a pivotal day for medical students. It is on this day that final-year medical students across the United States receive emails confirming whether they have been accepted into a medical residency program or not.

At Match Day 2025, a record number of students from Brown University’s Warren Alpert Medical School received their residency placements.
