The Golden State Warriors have been predicted to trade Jonathan Kuminga to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for three players.

NBA restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga has been predicted to sign a $45 million contract with the Golden State Warriors. NBA writer Dan Favale of Bleacher Report thinks Kuminga will get his wish by receiving a player option for the 2026-27 season.

Shelburne's idea could solve the current rift between Kuminga and Golden State's front office. However, if he's dead set on signing his qualifying offer or forcing his way out of the franchise, no alterations the front office makes will be deemed good enough.

Per Ron Kroichick of the San Francisco Chronicle, Kuminga believes he’s on the same level as some of the NBA’s brightest young stars. Kroichick says that Kuminga believes he is worthy of earning a max level contract from Golden State.
