Body of Israeli-American Itay Chen released by Hamas— leaving seven hostages remaining in Gaza
The body is now en route to the National Center of Foreign Medicine in Tel Aviv for identification, which could take days to complete.
An Israeli military official told Reuters Hamas violated the ceasefire with an attack against Israeli forces in an area under Israeli control.
