Binge-watchers, rejoice: A wave of new shows is premiering this week on Netflix, HBO Max and other streaming services as well as broadcast and cable networks.

After his latest comedy special, Panicked, dropped on the 2025 TV premiere schedule, I made an effort to check it out as soon as I got the chance. Not only would I call it one of the best stand-up specials on HBO Max, I would also credit it with helping me realize how much I do identify with Maron after all, and for two particular reasons.

The 2025 Superman movie is not yet available on a subscription-based streaming service, but we do expect to see the new Superman movie streaming on HBO Max, free to HBO Max subscribers eventually, because Superman is a Warner Bros. movie, and HBO Max is the streamer owned by Warner Bros.
